2008 White Dove of Hope
Derby Diva/Queen Contest
Rules and Regulations

  1. A contestant must be with in the following age range of current school year to qualify for Queen, Princess, Duchess and Little Miss:

                        Queen:  Must be age 15-18
                        Princess: Must be age 12-14
                        Duchess: Must be age 9-11
                        Little Miss: Must be age 5-8

  1. Contestant must be single, never have been married or had a marriage annulled; contestant can never have been pregnant. 
  2. Contestant must be a U.S. citizen and never have been charged or convicted of a felony offense.
  3. Miss Derby Diva/Queen and court must be available for the duration of the Spring Demolition, the Hempstead Watermelon Festival, the Waller County Fair Parade, the Fall Demolition Derby and any other event deemed necessary by White Dove of Hope, Inc.
  4. Every Contestant will be required to distribute posters to area businesses and sell Demolition Derby Raffle Tickets.
  5. The winner of each division will be determined by the number of tickets sold.
  6. The winner of each category will receive the following prizes:

        * Queen will receive a crown, sash, flowers and a $75.00 visa gift card
        * Princess will receive a crown, sash, flowers, and a $75.00 visa gift card
        * Duchess will receive a crown, sash, flowers, and a $75.00 visa gift card
        * Little Miss will receive a crown, sash, flowers, and a $75.00 visa gift card.

  1. All raffle tickets will need to be turned in no later than 7:00pm on Thursday April 24 at the Chad Treichel Memorial Arena
  2. Each contestant must remember that she is representing White Dove of Hope Inc. and will carry and present herself in a respectable manner. 
  3. All contestants will be required to help out and distribute tickets until intermission when the winners will be announced. Then at that time only the winners will be required to stay until the conclusion of the Derby to distribute prizes.
  4. White Dove of Hope Inc. assumes no responsibility for accidents or injuries, including while the Queen and court may be carrying out any other duties.
